History
Part of a small group of Viera peacefully leaving their home of the Skatay Range, Ellaria and her family traveled north and far west to the reaches of Abalathia's Spine, a frigid and harsh mountain range at the far Northern reaches of Coerthas. There, they hoped to find peace from Garleans and Eorzeans alike. Instead, they found refugees and fugitives from both sides taking advantage of their knowledge and skills of mountain life. Despite productive agriculture and trade, between the years of raids and the harsh realities of the climate, the settlement fell. Ellaria and her brother survived the flames and invaders to journey further south, to civilization proper to start over. However, her brother, the last vestiges of family and her past, was lost on the final stretch. Ellaria has moved on, and doesn't dwell, but her obsession with frugality in word, emotion, and material remains.
